Please know if you decide to operate an Air BnB (Short-Term Rental) you must contact Shenandoah County at 540-459-6185 to obtain a permit/approval.

If you have rental property or are operating an Air BnB out of your home, we encourage you to print the "Community Rules" flyer to post in your Air BnB. We also suggest for you to take a look at some of the documents in the "Governing Documents" section & click on the PDF for "Rules & Information" which include the major issues we run into from time to time as listed:

*Adequate Parking
*Dog leash ordinance
*Firepits & Fire Safety
*Quiet Hours
We suggest that making a binder with these rules in it for your guest are a helpful and a more resourceful way to find that the rules are being followed properly.
